It's the Christmas after Kate died, and Neal is sad and missing the little traditions they had together, like baking cookies or plying each other with increasingly outrageous hot chocolate recipes or whatever. He begins to notice, however, that someone is fulfilling these little things, and it makes him feel better. Who can it be?

I feel bad, as I just saw that someone else ended up not writing one of your other prompts, but I don't think I'm going to be able to do this one. I think I might write something "inspired by" this prompt, but I'm finding that I just can't quite wrap my head around the particulars.
