Script page pic from JE - Season Finale (SPOILERS)

Aug 25, 2011 11:23

So a couple of people on my Twitter feed retweeted this pic from Jeff Eastin, which they somehow missed when he originally posted it.  The caption is, "Doing my favorite thing - writing by the fire pit in my back yard with my dog next to me. Working on #WhiteCollar season finale."

Unlike when he actually posts pics designated "script page," the ( Read more... )

looks like a 'ten' to me; bit convenient that's where the screen seems most smudged...

At first I thought it was a ten, then I thought, wait, no, maybe it's a two...IDK.

Interesting! **is excited**

I was sure it said "ten" until it was suggested it was a "two." Now I don't know.

Also, for no reason I can name, I find the note that just says "mad libs" absolutely hysterical.

"Wouldn't Kramer know about the extra two years?"

This is what it looks like to me. I believe "two" because Neal was given four more years for escaping prison. However, as part of his deal with the FBI, he gets a reduced sentence.

"Judgement Day" sounds rather ominous. This paired with the set visit info I just read from Michele...

Was it reduced? I thought it was four years on anklet as opposed to four in prison.

Also - YES! Kramer's coming back. CONFIRMED. Wheeeeee! (He's going to be the devil, I just know it. This guy is gonna be bad news.)

Well, according to Bomer its a reduced sentence. He's said it many times in television interviews when asked to explain the show or his character. You could probably look up nearly any interview on YouTube. He's never stated how much time Neal would actually spend with the anklet, though. Eastin has, likely, never told him.

I've heard him say this, too, but I'm not sure how literally to take it. In the pilot episode Peter says that they're going to give Neal 4 more years for escaping, and then at the end of the same episode he says that he "owns" Neal for four years. The implication, at least *in that episode* is clearly that it's four years on the anklet as opposed to 4 years in prison (as virgo_79 says). I've always assumed that Matt may be just trying to get across the general concept, rather than providing specific details of Neal's deal. Or maybe he's saying that his time *in prison* has been reduced. IDK. While it's always possible that they've changed the concept somewhat since the pilot, until we actually have in-episode evidence, I'll stick with that.

I love that Eastin still hasn't got a surname for June. XD

I know! And the other day I was trying to remember if they'd ever said what it was.

I am nearly positive it says Ten. The last letter isn't closed off like a o would be.

Was it said anywhere about the length of time Neal would have to do if he was caught? Like a 10 year sentence anywhere?
