So I submitted a short story I wrote recently to Coq and Bull, which is a site that accepts short fiction, and has a little contest every quarter, with the winners and a few other stories they deem worthy published in their online newsletter. This is why you always read the output before submission.

Try the literary magazines. Don't stop.

I did read their previous stuff. It was all pretty much unimpressive, but I assumed that was because they were just starting out and hadn't had many submissions to pick from. I didn't realize it was, like, an editorial choice.

I've found a couple of other sites that I'll be submitting stuff to. More news on that as it develops.
