CROCHETING
I've been happliy crocheting making beaded jug and mug covers . Finished a lovely moss green blanket. I'm currently working on a short sleeve bolero in white for my mum. MY SEWING ROOM
The new room looks good, still needs painting and vinynl on floor. Our neighour is a builder ,so Dave asked him to put the frame up.Dave worked very hard on his days off filling in the walls inside and out. We only needed 2 walls put up as the room is on our back veranda and already has a roof .I'm very pleased to have a guest room come craft room ( Read more... ) -
butterfly quilt
Well I finally finished the quilt. Only sewed Wednesdays every week,made clothes as well as crocheted a blanket . My friend Cherrie let me have some of her stash for the quilt,so about a 3rd of the fabric was donated. The butterflies are hand stitched in metallic thread . Butterflys
I am close to finishing my butterfly quilt.As far as I know the quilt is based on the court house steps .It turned out bigger than I thought it would as I did 2 squares each with a butterfly in the middle . Spring
Well its spring here in Australia and i have a beautiful garden . Some of my sweet peas have flowered . All the blossoms on the fruit trees are out . The native flowering trees make great bird food .I have just planted out my vegie patch with help of my son ,he dug it over . fires
the fires have not affected us girls here in victoria.they r about 100kms from us and there has been raining .thank god . i hope mountinsno doesnt mind but i know her and family are safe on the coast as they have just recently moved. ajmandi is also safe as far as i know too.please try not to worry everyone.love to all. jenny -
xray
monique my youngest did a cartwheel and her friends got in the way ,so she fell and hurt her shoulder . a week later it still hurt so off to the doctors. the doctor reckons its a fracture in her shoulder bone. going to sale hospital this morning for a xray. poor monique its the 3rd time we have had to go to the hospital in a year. this really ( Read more... ) -
