First of all, this is AMAZING. I really enjoy reading your work, always turns me into a big pile of mushy, slobbering feelings. So much angst, and then so much love!
But one thing that just hit me about this particular piece is that it reminds me so much of a placebo song...
"Leave me bleeding on the bed, see you right back here tomorrow, for the next round..."
The lyrics fits almost perfectly. I could quote the whole thing here and it would all make sense!
"When I dream, I dream of your fists. When I dream, I dream of your kiss." A repressed Arthur singing to his Eames. I love the basic idea that he needs both violence and comfort form Eames.

I've really just started using this livejournal, so I haven't commented before, but can I just say that you are literally one of the best writers I've ever read material from? Like, seriously. You're fucking AMAZING. I've read Requiescat twice, once to myself and once out loud to my bestie who was just as equally impressed. I was literally checking your journal every day to see if you'd posted the next chapter, even though I knew you wouldn't be back for a week just because it was THAT good. And this... This IS that good. Since it's AU, you could change the names and totally get this published. I'd buy it. It's extremely impressive. Your grasp on your craft is unbelievable, and I hope you write forever and ever and ever.

Just so you know, I kind of despise you right now (in a good way!) I'm halfway through the second section and you are KILLING ME. I keep reading paragraphs thinking 'oh, ok, ratcheting up the tension, Arthur will make it better by making the right decision here' but then BAM! It just gets worse and angstier. Well done. Just, unbelievably well done. Slow clap for you.
