I've been meaning to see Doubt for ages! I guess I should get around to it now.

I've been thinking about it - obviously the 06 got a ton of attention and were probably invited to the White House, so it seems obvious that Ben would have to follow them to ensure their protection from Widmore. Following that thought, I bet that Widmore has connections with the White House, because he's an insane businessman, right? And also, he's played by the evil VP from season two, so it's just rife with crossover potential.
