I've never participated in something like this, so I have a question -- can the icons be posted before the 20th? If I, for example, manage to make all my icons tomorrow, could I post them tomorrow night or would I have to wait until the 20th?

Absolutely! You can post them any time between now and then and all day on the 20th. I am going to be shooting to post a CLOSED notice when everyone hits the 21st (and there will be a little wiggle room there), but when that post goes up no more batches will be accepted for voting.

Well, I'm done with my icons and ready to post, so I wanted to know if there are any posting rules I should know about - like a specific title or something? And are fake cuts okay, or does the table have to be posted here? :)

Round One - username or whatever really. Might put specifics on it next time, but for now it is up to each of you. :) Don't worry about tagging, because I'll take care of that. You can do a fake cut like "see the rest here @ wherever" or you are more than welcome to post the entire batch here (some people don't like a public entry at all at their journals/icon journals.) As long as it is public, it doesn't matter to me where you post it.

Can't wait to see what you've come up with!

I'm so glad! I have had so much fun picking them out. I have 9 rounds lined out, but if you think of any that might be good please share. After this round, I'm going to put up an official suggestion post for themes/categories.

ya know, I thought I had bookmarked some cap sites but most of them are gone (what happened to Freeze Frame Network?? Half of the sites are dead!)

Can you post some links to good cap sites, esp. for Firefly and Dollhouse. :D

Awesome themes will get started soon, i'm just so busy right now i still have to finish my claim from iepisode which i got an extension from... and i also need to work on stuff for heart of gold.

I just have a question, can we promos where they the cast are in character i.e. http://chosentwo.com/gallery/displayimage.php?album=38&pos=3 or do we just have to stick to screencaps?

Promos and still are perfectly alright as long as they fit with the prompt. (For example if we had a candid/out of character prompt you'd want to go with a photoshoot or candid pic.) So basically, they are fine 98% of the time. ;)
