Welcome to Round One! (Rules, Themes, Category, and Table Code)
I just want to say a huge THANK YOU to all of you who signed up to participate this round.
::RULES::
+ You must be signed up and have your name listed here to participate. If you missed sign-ups for this month, friend the community and stick around for the great icons, voting, and next month's challenge. :)
+ Remember you can use any combination of Jossverse shows and the associated comics to produce these icons. You can also focus on only one show if you choose.
+ Challenges will run from the 1st of the month until the 20th at midnight. (This is where your individual timezones come in to play. No matter where you are, the challenge will end for you at midnight on the 20th.)
+ ICON POSTS MUST BE PUBLIC UNTIL VOTING IS CLOSED. You are allowed to either post here to the community, or at your own journal/icon journal.
+ Icons must all be new and made specifically for this challenge.
+ Icons must fit LJ standards. (No larger than 100x100 and 40kb.) NO ANIMATION.
+ Let's keep things PG-13, please. Everyone's bits and pieces should be covered for the most part, and don't leave f-bombs all over the place. If you are unsure whether an icon would be okay, feel free to ask.
+ Post with only 3 teaser icons. Everything else should be below a cut or after a link. If you post them elsewhere, again, please remember that the post must be PUBLIC until the end of the month.
+ If you would like a participation banner, please say so in your post to this community.
+ You don't have to worry about tagging. I'll take care of it for you.
+ Please try and comment on each other's posts. You know how much you enjoy receiving feedback, so be sure to give as well as just waiting to receive. ;)
Your first 10 icons will illustrate the following themes:
::Themes::
1. Hush -- Textless icon. No text. No text brushes. No tiny text. (and so on. and so on.)
2. The Grey Hour -- B&W icon. Completely grayscale. No added color from text or textures.
3. Bad Girls -- Choose any of the female villains, or even our heroines being naughty.
4. Not the Hammer -- (No not *that* either!) This is to show a character of your choice with their favorite weapon.
5. Damage -- The characters always seem to be getting in one fight or another. This is your opportunity to show them in the aftermath and wounded in some way.
6. Objects in Space -- No humans/humanoids featured. Vehicles, objects, and anything non-breathing. Think Serenity, a pile of stakes,
7. Three Flowers -- The HPverse has its trio--who would your Jossverse trio be? You can even mix the shows together if you like.
8. The Message -- Quote icon. It can be text-only or accompanied by a picture.
9. Evil League of Evil -- Your favorite Jossverse villain. Only the baddest of the bad may apply.
10. Heartthrob -- The Jossverse is full of good looking men and women. Pick a favorite and show them at their sexy best!
