Kids' show on PBS in the 80s

Hmmm, Zoobilee Zoo doesn't seem to have any puppets in it...

Try googling using merino,instead of Marina, since merino is a breed of sheep that is very common in Australia.

Doesn't ring any bells. The sheep's name could have been Merino though, and not Marina. Merino being a common breed of sheep in Aus.

Bananas in Pyjamas had a sheep. As did New McDonald's Farm. Neither called Merino/Marina. LOL

I'm wondering if it might have been a segment on Pinwheel (though iirc that aired on Nickelodeon). It showed clips from all around the world and did incorporate puppetry
