Looking for a compilation of Irish songs

When I was a teenager, I borrowed a CD called "Best Irish Pub Songs" from the library. I don't remember the full track listing, but I do remember it having "Whiskey In The Jar," "High Germany" (performed by the Dubliners), "My Eileen," "Dirty Old Town," "Finnegan's Wake," and "Sam Hall." Amazon. (eta) you may have taken out a compilation CD are all the ones with this title on amazon not what youre looking for?

Yeah, it was a compilation- the artists were all different. The one on Amazon has the same title, but different songs. (If it helps at all, "Whiskey in the Jar" was the first track, and "High Germany" was the second.)

Uuuuugh ok...i would have figured that if you borrowed it it was a single set cd (like 11-12 songs?) but it wasnt a multi disk set was it? This and This both whiskey in the jar first but i suppose thats not unusual...This cd seems to have a good number of similar artists if youre interested but not all of the songs you listed :(

Maybe? (Also at Amazon.) It doesn't completely match your memory -- there is no "My Eileen," and "High Germany" is listed under George Roberts, though it looks like he might be the composer.

That's it! Though they seem to have changed it up a bit- no My Eileen, and there was a song called "Four Green Fields" that seems to be gone as well.
