Pencils

What are the name for the kids pencil that have extra tips inside? You just put the dull tip into the back end and it pushes forward a new tip.

ETA: Also looking for the name of those fat pens that have like 10 different colours of ink. I had one in 1992 and it was quite the thing.

I also remember them being called pop-a-point pencils where I lived.

I think the pens were called Shuttle pens. That's what we called them anyway!

Push pencils, or sometimes bullet push pencils. I remember them being called popapoint too.

I remember those ten colour ballpoint pens being around in the early 1980s as well... I had one but don't remember its brand; they were just referred to as "ten colour pens". They're still available as far as I can tell after having done a quick google, although they look a lot more modern these days.

The pencil sounds like what I'd call a "mechanical pencil", but the ones I remember more aimed at adults: artists or engineers, people who needed a pencil of a specific width or who didn't want the hassle of having to carry sharpeners around with them.
