help identifying two random objects

I was at my father's house this weekend and he was complaining that there isn't a website where he can post a picture of an object and say, "What is this?!" I told him I knew of just the place.

the second one looks a little like a tow ball cover but they dont tend to have stands...

#1 looks like an old pipe/tube bender

They look like Aliens from a doc who ep where they didn't have much of a budget.
Honestly, I have no idea. I'd love to know if you ever find out though.

The first one looks like something that would be used to tighten (or loosen) some type of nut-thingy. It reminds me of the wrenches used to change saw blades on high end trim/moulding saws. The three immobile nubs would hold it secure while the handles leveraged the left and right nubs to move? Only one would have to be reverse fitted.
This is a really fun game.
Oh- and the second one makes me think of marine hardware.
