I'm trying to track down an acoustic folk-rock type song. It had a male vocalist and acoustic guitar (I don't think any other instruments were involved, but it's possible). The song had a folksy Simon & Garfunkel type feel to it, but I'm pretty sure it's from within the past decade. And as far as I recall, there was no defined refrain to the song (

Possibly 'Kangaroo cry' by Blue October? The original starts out somewhat acoustic sounding, and they've done several acoustic radio performances over the past year, plus a couple acoustic shows in Texas in July, much of which can be found on YouTube. One of the lines is the saddest look I've seen in years, a kangaroo cry
