i've definitely heard this classical (supposed) music before and i just heard it again in a ad today. it's probably a very famous piece but i've never learned its name. here is a transcription on my behalf (sorry it's so shoddy it was rushed on paint):

hahaha it was the easiest thing to open and proper notation programs confuse me. plus i cbb doing it by hand and getting my scanner out.

i can't sight read worth a hoot (i understand the notes conceptually, but i don't "hear" them in my head)... but i too am super impressed at your paint skills.

Dammit, played it in this (as my sight-singing isn't that good) and it's very familiar but I can't place it.

My husband suggests it might be something from Dr Zhivago.

not really. it was for some tv show or a promo for a channel. i live in australia btw.
