One more music question, and then I am seriously done bothering you with music questions. There's a song I love that I haven't heard in a while that plays at the end of a movie I don't know the name of. Useful, no? I have not seen the entire movie. I do not know what the movie is about. The movie ends with some guy hitching a ride in a semi. Then ( Read more... )

HM. That describes...a lot of bands. And a lot of nineties bands, sadly. And while I'm sure there is a movie with an actual semi, the only similar movie I can think of is "My Own Private Idaho" in which River Phoenix falls asleep in the middle of the road and the driver of a pickup truck picks him up and puts him in the backseat or something. Could that be it? (Probably not. But I tried. And "My Own Private Idaho" is a really good movie.)

Could the band be INXS?

Michael Hutchence of INXS died of autoerotic asphyxiation. He wasn't trying to kill himself, he was just trying to have better orgasm via self-strangulation, and it went wrong.

you know, for everyone suggesting punky (no offence!) stuff, i'm starting to think it was a slower song.

Alice in Chains is another one that I forgot. They were grunge but some of their songs are slow.
