Check out Sarah Brightman. She does a lot of things that get used in shows, movies, things like that. It's her voice in the Fifth Element techno opera, to give you an example.
Despite what the users of LimeWire would have you believe, Sarah Brightman did not sing the track in The Fifth Element - it was Albanian soprano Inva Mula.
While it's possible that it's her singing, it's definitely not something that she wrote or was written for her. But I can always check to see if she was singing an opera piece in commercials.
I do recognize the piece as something I've heard several times, it's something very old, I just can't remember the composer.
