 I got to see Richard Dawkins give a talk at UW tonight. (Author of The God Delusion, The Selfish Gene, The extended Phenotype, etc) He came across a lot more "gentle" than I expected.(He is known for being a staunch atheist and accosted for being an asshole to debate with.. I personally love him for it).

I've read some minimal Descartes stuff on determinism. It's on my list to read more. I think you and I should discuss these things, seeing as we have come from the same background... also, i miss you and it'd be fun to talk. phone date soon.
