its funny cause here in texas they threw a fit. at baylor college someone hung a noose in a tree after the election. people freely started arguments in the supermarkets and vandalize if you have an obama sign. not to mention the anti-obama carnival the Young Conservatives of Texas put on where they threw eggs on pictures of obama. there have been lots of guys wearing shirts calling obama a communist and the articles in the school newspaper have all been about how communism, socialism, gay marriage, and abortion are here to stay. its been fun down here.

But when John McCain picked Palin for VP, it really started to flow. The Secret Service reported that following her pick (and her vilifying, hateful tone) death threats to the Obamas spiked sharply.

And Obama tried so hard to bring people together, avoid attacking the Republican point of view and all that. McCain did too--to an extent, but then he picked Palin... gg

We can only hope that craziness will go away and yield to some new sort of common sense of purpose.
