Back To Work
12 weeks later, I'm back to work. I've been at my new job for 10 days so far, still in training. I'm really enjoying it. I expect it's going to be a great longterm job. I even got class valedictorian for my training! That speaks volumes to me about my abilities. Not that I'm better than others, but that I'm not the failure my previous boss ( Read more... ) -
Chore to Blessing
Holy lord! I just got done cleaning out the fridge - easily the grossest, most thankless job in the house. But tonight, it was different. Tonight, as I cleaned it out, I didn't just empty containers down the sink or pitch them in the garbage. No. Instead, the "experiments" went into the compost pile out back. Grandpa's House
I woke up stupidly early this morning, already in thought. I was thinking about my grandfather's house in central Phoenix. The house is old by Phoenix standards - built in the 1920's and is located at the north end of a popular historic community.

Welcome Back, Whatevah
Hi everyone. It's been a while, non?
I was just looking back. I made a scant 19 posts last year. 19!! It's been a very rough year. But I survived. More than survived, I found some strength I didn't know I had. And I'm in a pretty good place these days.
Hopefully this is the first of many, many entries this year. Many more than 19, I hope. -
Ahhhhh....relief
Anya went potty in the kiddie potty for the first time last night! We've been working on this for quite a while, and sometimes it's felt like she'd be 12 years old and still in diapers, but here, just one week before she turns 3 years old, she did it!
Now for the follow up....lol. -
