I stumbled on this community a few weeks ago and I've been following it since and I've been so excited to find a whole LJ community dedicated to slow cooking. I was just on the phone with my dad and I said that obviously what type of barbecue sauce you use would make a difference in how it tastes -- like if you use a barbecue sauce that tastes crappy then it will all taste like the crappy barbecue sauce. But this dish was AMAZING.

(My dad just pointed out that Pappy's Smokehouse -- that I reference in my blog post -- sells barbecue sauce in the store and that I should buy some of that and try the recipe again to see if it tastes like Pappy's.)
