I've been lurking and reading, but when ooodatsnice asked for lasagna, I decided to speak up and share. This recipe comes out great, and is really easy to do. I see that someone else has posted a recipe in the comments for the original recipe, but that one's different so I'll still do this one ( Read more... )

Question: Do you use the noodles that are designed to be cooked or the kind you usually boil first?

This looks yummy, although I will be adding some serious garlic to it. :D

I got the noodles that don't have to be boiled. There's enough liquid in the sauce that they'll cook quite nicely.

Oooh, this sounds good... I'm going to have to try this one.

Slightly funny lasagna story.... I was looking at the recipe and you layer the ingredients the same way I do when I make baked lasagna, except that I don't mix up the three cheeses. So my order is Sauce, Noodles, Cheese, Cheese, Cheese. My kids helped me make it last time and we sang this to the tune of Bingo...

There was a cook who made some dinner, lasagna was it's name-o
Sauce, noodles, cheese, cheese, cheese....

My husband thinks we are NUTS! LOL

Oh wow delish! I love Italian food, you know I use no boil pasta too works great but, I have never made Lasagna in a Crock-Pot I'll have to make it. Thanks for showing us how to make Lasagna by using a Crock-Pot.
