I made this the other day and it came out pretty well even though I'm at extremely high elevation and nothing EVER bakes up here.
1 box (18 oz) devil's food cake mix
4 eggs
1 cup light sour cream
3/4 cup vegetable oil
1 cup water
1 package (3 oz) instant chocolate pudding
1 cup chocolate chips
Combine and mix all of the ingredients BY HAND... pour into greased 3 1/2 - 5 quart slow cooker (crock pot, whatever ;)) Cover and cook on low heat for 5 - 6 hours, until done in center (toothpick comes out clean). DO NOT cook this recipe on high heat.
I'm interested to know how it comes out at sea level, since I'm moving there soon... if anyone below 7,500 feet tries this let me know ;)
