Does anyone have a quick and easy recipe for a whole chicken? I have a 6qt cooker. I don't want to use a lot of ingredients. I did google, but nothing jumped out at me.

Here is a recipe I made last night. The whole family loved it.

Adobo Chicken:
1 small sweet onion, sliced

3/4 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup vinegar

That sounds yummy and easy!

I usually just cut up potatoes (any variety), celery, carrots, onion, etc (whatever I have on hand), add seasonings (salt, pepper, bay leaf, whatever) and some water, place the cleaned out whole chicken on top and cook on low for 8 hours....

or just a whole chicken covered in bbq sauce - even easier and less ingredients.

This is easy and delicious! I stuff it with onions, lemon and butter and put sliced garlic under the skin. I also never do the fridge part.

(and the dinner sounds good! you might try a 40 clove garlic chicken recipe -- toss in 40 cloves of garlic, drizzle in olive oil, put some fresh rosemary and thyme in, and cook the heck out of the chicken. YUMMMY!)
