He has a new found understanding of smiles held up by strings. I hate this, how he’d only ever known the fake smiles from the outside, and now he knows them from the inside, only he’s got to fix himself by himself, because roger is all the way in seattle and he’s stuck in montreal.

Aaaaaaaaand then mike gets the flowers and the necklace. AND HE REALIZES THAT HE IS NOT ACTUALLY ALONE. BECAUSE ROGER IS IN SEATTLE, YEAH, BUT THEY’RE STILL BEST BROS AND ROGER IS STILL THERE FOR HIM IN EVERY CAPACITY THAT HE POSSIBLY CAN BE AND A;SDLFJAS;LKDFJAS;DFJ

I'm sort of maybe crying a little bit right now. These transfers. You are making them hurt my heart. Since the Sounders are only in my barest peripheral vision, my initial response was "HOW CAN SHE DO THIS? ROGER NEEDS HIM!" and then "...Wait. He's actually gone? NO."
I am just very upset right now.

I did read the other one, and that was great too! But my reaction to this was "FRAAAAAAAANNNS. YOU CAN BREAK UP A ROMANCE BUT NOT A /BROMANCE/! FFFRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNSS."

:( and that is an awful feeling to go to a game and then realize that your team is different.

This might be one of the best bro-fics I've read. I love them. I love how the bro-ness is back and forth for them. Mike is there so much for Roger and yet when Mike is alone in Montreal, Roger knows just what he needs.

Ah...I want to offer all the things for fics about all the great bromances out there.
