ROAD TRIP

Tomorrow, we take off for a suburb of San Fransisco.  We are driving there from Portland so it should be something.  What's kind of nice is that there's nothing there for us that we have to do.  There's no convention, no wedding, no wrestling match.  Just the three of us meeting up with some friends.

Vagabond needs an anime. I don't know what is Inoue (or possibly anime production companies's's's) problem. It's not like they don't know how the story ends B)

Also, part of the reason for the releases coming out in such short proximity to each other is because Vagabond is COMPLETELY caught up with the Japanese manga. Berserk will probably get there at some point too, (couple of volumes a year VS one if you're lucky) while we will forever be stuck with One Piece output that's like frickin 20+ volumes behind the Japanese release...!!! >:|

Well, Viz is apparently stepping up Naruto, printing half a GN a month in SJ, and printing TWELVE volumes of it during the months of September and December this year to catch up to the "stories the Japanese are reading now" (which I guess it that three-year time-jump I've heard about)... so who know?

These days, I skip One Piece because it's just as appealing to me as it used to be. I think it was Usopp what done it.
