My birthday wishes are going to be a few days late. 1. It's too hot to turn on the box (don't have list on my iPod). 2. I'm about to drop due the heat and humidity. 3. Been busy getting the kids ready for school which starts Thursday. last but not least hoping the Hurricane Earl doesn't cause too much damage this weekend.

Well I had a short conversation with Dad's SW yesterday about my concerns about Dad and Mum's ulterior motive. Earlier this afternoon, shortly before the boy got home from school I noticed that HRM had planted a Sugar Maple tree in the front yard near the curb - there is no sidewalk on my side of the street. Well I've got home all right, I've been home for a few hours now. The roads aren't really that much of a problem, it's the side-walks. Had to do a bit of walking since most of the buses were taken off b/c of the storm, obviously. With the length of time it took the bus to go up Herring Cove and Cowie Hill Rds I could've gotten home faster ( Read more... )

Well, Willy had his dental surgery this morning. It was scheduled for 1130hrs today, but the OR team were a little head of schedule so they asked me if I minded if they could take him a little earlier.
