Hinata didn't notice when she trudged through the door, or even that she was inside now. A mission had gone badly, she'd gotten separated from her team...by going over a cliff. She'd handled the nin that she came across afterward but...in short she was hurt. And tired. And maybe bleeding on Jim's clean floor.

Jim's clean, slippery floor.

She blinked as her feet tried to go out from under her, then swayed, one arm hanging limply at her side as she stared at the slick tiles for a minute. "Oh....oh...I'm so s-sorry." she was messing it up!

He's tired enough that he notices her in stages, and it takes a while for each one to penetrate his brain: First, there is blood on his floor. His floor which is no longer wood, but tile. (He's in the Inn, he realizes.) And then there are shoes slipping and he reaches out to help the person in question and forms half of a 'watch it' on his lips before he notices who it is.

And that she's bleeding. "Whoa!"

She flinched at his word, not sure if he was upset she'd trespassed or...well, regardless, she shifted backwards just a little too quickly and ended up actually slipping. "Eeee!......ow." she couldn't do more than blink dumbly at her feet for a few minutes after landing.

"I'm s-sorry. This...this isn't w-where I was g-going? I'll...clean up?"

Jim blinks at her before springing into action.

"You're bleeding! C'mon, we've got to find a doctor or something. What the hell happened?"

Ace is mostly still sullen.

And sopping wet.

Thankfully not green though.

The green was a distinct possibility, what with the fact that the rainstorm that attacked her late-night snack today was definitely emerald-tinged.

Jim sees water dripping on his precious floor first, and then looks up with an expression that says: 'excuse me wtf r u doin?'

"Watch it!"

Ace looks back at him with an expression that says 'I'm wet, don't be a dumbass'.

Ace is good at expressive.... um. Expressions.

"Watch what?"

"Your water! On my floor!"

Which is... not the floor he was supposed to be cleaning. And Ace is not a member of the crew.

Jim's face goes through several comical distortions as he realizes this.

It is not the normal locomotion style of humans! And he has a Thing!

Thus, Jim is currently being watched intently from a few feet away.

Jim... completely fails to notice. His survival instincts are not what they should be.

That's OK. Her curiosity easily gets the better of her!

"What are you doing?"

He starts and looks up with comically wide eyes.
