Woo!  Today's practise session was very good!  After we were attempting the step sequence in grade 10 in the lesson (at least 5 moves in a row without long pauses inbetween) I decided that I needed to add in a 3-turn to go from forwards to backwards as I can't do a two foot turn (even though it's a grade 4 move and three turns are grade 6-I'm weird ( Read more... )

Ha!  Snow!  I haven't actually posted about the huge amount of snow that Britain has been getting (well, it is a lot for Britain, if not for anywhere else that gets snow :P), and thought that I should.  I even had to stay home from uni on Thursday last week because the snow made the roads to dangerous, and the trains weren't running normally.

Ah Demons, as a show, it really isn't all that great, but as light Saturday entertainment that doesn't require much brainpower I think it's fun(plus Christian Cooke is very pretty, and occasionally feels the need to wander round shirtless...)

As of today, I have just completed my first six weeks of the Skate UK course.  It has been fun, and I'm looking forward to continuing to learn how to skate.

Right, after attempting to draw Nick Cutter, I decided I'd try to draw Stephen. This is the result. I'm not too fond of it, because he kept looking slightly effeminate. Still, first attempt at drawing him, so it could have been worse. Again, as with the Nick picture, the reference was the DVD paused, this time episode two.

Yesterday I decided to have a go at sketching Nick Cutter, and this is the result. I'm fairly happy with it, though I would love to have done this in colour. However, I am spectacularly bad with colours. Spectacularly. It always turns out as a mess.
