Well, White Death 2007 descended upon us during the night to give us a white Groundhog Day. There's about an inch or two of snow. When I drove in to work this morning, the roads weren't too bad. Yay! Rain!

While I was at my parents' house today, a storm blew through around 6:00 or so. It actually had hail, and there were tornado watches scattered around the area, but not in ours. However, my cousin called saying that she saw a funnel cloud in her backyard. Supposedly, she got a picture of it before seeking cover and frantically calling everyone. ( Read more... )

Sometimes being a turtle is great. Today is one of them. It's raining a lot, so my back yard is probably going to be a nice little marsh when I get home. Going into work today, I didn't have to use an umbrella. I did anyway just so my clothes won't get too wet, but if it weren't for that I wouldn't have used one. I tried writing on some of the two-interest stories I have in mind, but I just can't get anything down. Maybe sometime later today I can. I think most of the problem is that it is very nice outside. I already broke down some of the boxes I've needed to clear out of the garage. Polar even went out exploring while I was doing that.

After getting a much-needed haircut yesterday, I headed down to the casino again. This time was another one of those match-the-symbol tickets that I have for every Wednesday in March.
