--Uglies/Pretties/Specials/Extras series by Scott Westerfeld

We (ok, I) listened to the new biopunk/steampunk books over christmas as car-trip-books-on-tape. (Kristen didn't like them but will wax eloquent over the voice guy, I think it was Nightcrawler). Anyway, would I like those four reading them now? The steampunk ones were good to listen to but seemed pretty juvenile; too much teenage whiny angst.

Yes, Sabriel! Things I remembered about Sabriel prior to rereading it (thanks for the lend!): Sabriel sees a penis, Sabriel overhears people having sex, there is a talking cat
