Heh - I know that you wrote this almost two months ago, but I had to tell you I loved the picture. One of our current kitties, and a couple of our dearly departed kitties, does (or used to do) this. And yes, each kitty was so cute that it was hard to bring one's self to dumping them out of the suitcase.

Aww, thank you! It's the first time one of ours has done it, and what was funniest was seeing her underneath the straps. She stayed there for a couple of hours, too - we were at the unpacking stage, so weren't in an immediate rush to remove her. And, yes, kitties are always cute :( Except when they're not...
