Oh, WENDY! I can't believe you did this. I am so deeply thankful. What an incredible gift! I'm just stunned. All that hard work on my behalf, and then those incredibly sweet compliments...THANK YOU!

if Rose isn’t shagging at least one of them, she needs her head examined. Not that she’s gonna tell Rose that... doesn’t need any ideas, that one.

*Snort* Bwahahaaha! I love that. I love the idea of Jackie, who always was rather aggressive with men, being rather, er, forward-thinking in her theorizing about what her daughter ought to be getting up to. ;-)

And I loved that quote from Milton that you included. What a fantastic way to sum up that scene as Mickey and Jackie stand watching the TARDIS depart.

This was just so lovely in so many ways.

Again - Thank you! I'm feeling utterly inept at expressing how much this means to me. *Hugs*

Phew! You have no idea how relieved I felt when I saw this comment from you - and apologies for how long it's taken me to reply to it.

You absolutely deserve it, my dear! You deserve many more fics written for you, also. And this was written with you in mind - I don't think Stacie could possibly have a better friend than you. Yes, you're a team over there at Support Stacie, but teams need leaders, people who inspire and motivate and hold the team together, as well as communicating with the outside world. You're fantastic at that.

Glad you liked Jackie being broad-minded about the Doctor and Jack! I think she had enough time to get to know them properly and understand how lucky Rose is to have them. She's also lucky to have Mickey, and Jackie herself.

*hugs back* I'm so happy that you liked this!

Wow, what a lovely, warm, good-feeling fic! A beautiful study of character relationships and affection/love shared by all.

And the ending is so satisfying, with Mickey acknowledging that they're all mates.

*Hugs!*

I love it. Love it immensely. And I think that scenes like this must have happened off camera.

Wonderful job as always :)

This is adorable as a lapful of kittens! I like how the Doctor can't reasonably take Jackie to have her leg instantly fixed, but he sneaks in a bit of technology that will work much better without arousing suspicion. Clever guy, our Doctor. He's acting in his own self-interest there, since a sleepless, itchy Jackie is something he doubtless wants to avoid. I really like Mickey's role in summoning Rose and having a nice little epiphany at the end.

Awww! My next-door-neighbour has just got a kitten, so I know exactly what you mean ;)

I'm really glad you enjoyed this, especially the Doctor quietly doing things to help Jackie, and Mickey's part in this. Mickey's a better friend to Rose than she often realises.

Awww... brilliant job! I love seeing "friend" stories with Jackie and Mickey -- and better yet, the Doctor, Jack and Rose together! Fabulous!

Asda don’t sell jelly-babies

But Poundland does! I was tempted to buy some last week... :D

LOL! I haven't had a jelly-baby in years :)

Thank you! Jackie and Mickey did end up such good friends, and I love seeing changes in Jackie and the Doctor's attitude to each other.
