Yesterday I read on FB that an old friend's mom passed away suddenly. Tonight I find out on FB an old college marching band friend passed away in his sleep yesterday as well. At 42.

Make sure the people you care about *know* you love them because life is too damn fucking short.

I have to get ready to go to the hubby's holiday party at a bar in Boston.

I would much rather stay home and be lazy.

Instead I will be putting in my contacts and getting into my "little black dress" and doing my hair and make-up. Whee.

We got a room with the usual suspects. We're going to do the crockpot thing again.

BUT..The windows in the hotel DO NOT open. Does that mean we shouldn't bring the foreman grill? Maybe if we bring a small fan that would still work ok if we don't burn anything??

I have had this cold or whatever since the 28 of Dec. 10 days? I have tried sudafed,hot tea, hot showers,Thera-flu,more fluids and vitamins and plenty of sleep.

Why won't it go away?

Also all the decongestants have made my skin SO very dry, especially my lips and my hands.

*Wanders off for hot tea and some moisturizer.*

Welcomed in the New Year at a completely different place than usual. Had a fantastic time. Low key, fun and got fairly drunk but not to rediculousness.. It took starting a status update on my Facebook page to realize *exactly* how much I drank. Here ya go ( Read more... )

First Saturday home in a month. Doing some present wrapping and laundry. Tonight is Carbon Leaf in VT with Fran! Tomorrow is Scarborough Maine!

Concert last night was lovely. Except my good friend and concert buddy told me her and her husband are probably moving South next Spring.

I guess it's good we have the internet..right?
