I'm feeling kind of pleased with myself, I must admit. Ben was at his work Xmas thing last night so I decided to use the quiet time to make a start on my pew decorations now that I had the ribbon. Would you believe it? The same girl who is getting married two weeks before us, in the same place, who used the same dressmaker as me, is using the same florist and probably the same music people? She quite fancies using the same celebrant as us too.

Anyone recommend a hitman?

I finally booked my florist on Sunday! Yay! The last major thing ticked off my list. I'm getting them from the florist at the local supermarket and they were hugely reasonable! It's kind of ironic really that while I've decided on the length (cathedral) and colour (blush pink) of my veil, and whether to have red roses (more expensive) or white roses for table centres (it had to be red - more drama), I have yet to make a definitive decision on my name post-wedding. Ben and I sorted Dad’s suit after I’d gone to the gym on Saturday morning. I’m very impressed with Frank Casey. They have been very efficient and accommodating - nothing is a problem.
