A Short History of Fuzzy Brushed Amigurumi

Ha ha! Thanks legendancer! Is that a nice way of saying I'm a blabbermouth? Heh heh.

It actually was really difficult to verify the information. Things like this just start appearing in art forms. Hard to say where they originate. But the important thing is the How To's! ;o)

Hmm, this may be just what I need for a couple hairstyles on some of my smaller things. Thanks for sharing!

Gee! That's a good idea, crows_queen! I hadn't thought of that! :o) I'll have to remember that idea. I'm always looking for easier ways to do hair! :o)

I ended up giving it a shot on the first piece I posted here!

It seems to work quite well, for short styles. I just wish I'd had that color in a yarn that was looser and had a longer fiber.

And he looks fabulous! :o) There is definitely a difference in the results you get between yarns. I found that Vanna's Choice had quite long fibers and, although I was happy with the end result, it was kind of too long for the fuzziness that I had intended for Hello Kitty. It was also quite thick. If you are using acrylc, I'd recommend trying it.

If you do any more experimenting with yarns, please post your results as I'd love to know which ones give what look. :o)
