oh, you're very welcome! There are some really terrific patterns here! Thank you for always commenting. :o) You're a dear!

I just finished testing all of the links (and fixing the ones I'd messed up, of course. heh heh) If you find any broken ones that I've missed, please let me know so I can fix them. :o)

Of course! I really enjoy this community and appreciate your hard work - commenting is the least I can do. ;)
I haven't had a chance to look at all the links, but I'll let you know if something's broken. I'm sure they're fine.

Oh, you're very welcome, masakiti! :o) Hope you enjoy looking at all of the cool designs as much as I did! If I were more organized, I'd put all these links, that I stumble on, up on delicious.com like snuffykin has with hers! She's done a wonderful job there!

thanks so much for the sloppy slip knot link! I cant believe I have never bothered to look up if there was anything easier!

Isn't that cool, lilmizzk? I just found this tutorial very recently, and loved it! The Magic Circle works great, of course, but somehow, I find it kind of unwieldy to start. (I just FINALLY got it through my head which direction the tail should be going! heh heh I kept forgetting.) I liked this "sloppy slip knot" idea a lot! It's so easy to remember, too. And like the magic circle, there's no lumpy knot left. :o)

i tried the sloppy knot last night but I couldn't tighten the loop and ended up with a horse shoe shape with the two ends attached (but not side by side). i gave up after about 4 tries & went back to the magic circle which was a bit looser than the last few I've done

Aww. That's too bad it didn't work for you. Did you watch her video?

I just tried it out again, to test before replying, and it worked fine for me. I made one each, a magic circle and a sloppy knot and the results look just the same. I do notice that I have to pull a lot harder on the sloppy knot to close it though. But if the magic circle works better for you, then that's the best one to use. :o) I'm all for using what works. I use whatever I'm in the mood for at the moment.

Thank you for all the links! I really need to stashbust and thankfully (lol) I'm having a baby in March so I'll be making a ton of amigurumis! And that slippy knot is awesome! Thanks a ton for sharing that! I've been getting fed up lately with the magic ring.

Oh! Congratulations!!! :o) What wonderful news! But I must say that this is the first time I've heard that someone was having a baby so she could make more amigurumi!! Hee hee. Well, we ARE obsessed. ;o)

Wishing you, and your precious wee-one-to-be, good health and many blessings!
