Cool thanks for sharing that technique! I'll have to give it a try sometime. I guess it's been a while since I saw it, but I didn't make the connection (same usernames, duh!) that you were the one who made that awesome The Thing doll. :)

My pleasure, kidmissle! :o) Hope you can use it.

Oh, thanks for the nice comment about the Thing! Gee, I don't think I ever remembered to post him here, maybe that's why you didn't make the connection! I should try to post him this month for the ami-along, 'cause he's been in cartoons. Yeah, I know... I'm not along-ing if I already MADE him... but we're easy here. I'll put him up in a day or two. Ooohhh!! And I've got to post TAZ!! HE'S a cartoon character! :o) That'll give me incentive to get on the ball and finally post the poor guy. He's not even been put up in flickr! Sheesh! ;o)

Thank you so much, krysanya! I think you could crochet her, too! She's knit in the round, spiraling, from nose to tail. So quite possible to crochet her. :o) But do learn to knit, anyway! It's Fun! ;o) And so nice to know both!

Thanks for posting it. I'll have to look at it from home. This seems to be one of the pretty random websites that I can't access from work.

Oh, bummer, crafty shanna! If you have trouble getting it, please message me with an email address where I could send it, and I'll email it to you.

I got it from home this morning. I work for the gov't, and they have all sorts of things blocked: sex sites (obviously), gaming sites, youtube, facebook, myspace, and other seemingly random things. I e-mailed the pdf to myself so I can print it out at work. My home printer is not so hot. :) Thanks again for posting it!

This tutorial is wonderful! I couldn't really understand how you did it with just a description - now that I've seen the photos it makes perfect sense. I can't wait to try this technique! Thanks for posting this.

That's terrific, here-be-dragons! I'm so pleased that it made sense in the tute!! It's so simple, but not so easy to describe. :o) Can't wait to see what you make with it!
