Got a call from Dave at the auto body shop, and he gave me a run down. They've got most of the parts ordered and said that they'll be arriving tomorrow. He thinks that my car will be ready to pick up next Thursday. Wooo ( Read more... )

Nope, cuz I didn't that rental car insurance was something important for me to have coverage on. And I got it all worked out with my carpool buddy. She picked me up at the shop this morning and will drive me all next week (aside from Mon & Wed afternoon, which I might have someone else lined up for). And paying her $20 of gas money is way better than paying $20 a day for a week, plus mileage and fees.

I'm sorry to hear about such terrible things happening to your beloved vehicle but (like other commenters on your original post) I'm glad you're okay.
Hope you're feeling a bit less shaken and stirred by now.

Well, I DID put it under a cut, with only a "car" tag as visible reference to it. I'm feeling better today. Left work an hour early and went to bed at 7 PM last night. I'm planning on taking it easy for the next few days as well. It doesn't help that I think I've got the beginnings of a cold or something on top of the accident issues.
