My new laptop arrived! Whoohooo! There was a bit of an f-up in the whole delivery though. I received an email that it was delivered. I went downstairs (to where I had asked for them to send it), and they hadn't seen or heard of the package. I had to go back to moving our dense file storage room, and searched for the full tracking information on ( Read more... )

Oh definitely. Our home wireless network was acting up last night, so I just hopped on the neighbor's open network. :)

I don't have a wireless network set up yet, but sometimes an open-access network pops up with an "excellent" connection. When it does, I feel like those stupid guys in that "magic fridge" beer commercial.

Yeah, that's exactly the feeling. If I had more computer knowledge, I would be able to hack into their systems when folks are stupid enough to leave their network open.
