Thanks, and the extra bonus is that I got $100 in cash as a leasing commission, and a little over $300 taken off of my loan to my parents. Whoohoo! Which means out of the total $34K I have owed them over the years, I've gotten it down to $5,150 flat!

That's cool. If you're looking to save up to buy, I totally recommend that you take the first time homebuyer classes if you have any offered locally. I had to go through two mortgage companies, two different realtors, two home inspections and three sets of earnest money, and it would have been smoother if I had gotten more info on the process, and I wouldn't have ended up in the construction defect lawsuit my HOA is working on if I had just paid for that third home inspection!

There are lots of places to get great tips too, so that you're not flying blind!
