The drawing of all Weiss is first class. I especially like the bit at the end where Aya is as forthcoming as Aya gets.

You've given us nice treats in the other sections, too. The solid mechanics of Yohji's garotte; and Ken's mission report. ( I wonder if Omi found himself writing his report in Ken voice.)

I don't know if Kritiker would be willing to accept a mission report from Omi that sounds like it was written by Ken. (Manx: "'Then things turned weird' is not an acceptable description! This is why Ken doesn't write the reports.")

♥ ♥ ♥ I was SO excited when I saw you'd chosen this prompt!! And Eeeeeeee! I love "missing scenes" and this was fabulous! I love the sexual tension when Yohji's teaching him how to use the wire, but I have to tell you, even more, I love the end! Yes! Aya is an asshole! And so is Yohji! (Sometimes I still can't believe he turned down the mission. His excuse was really lame! :-P) I love them both, and it's just perfect! Thank you so much for writing this! I absolutely love it!

(Aya throwing his katana at the helicopter in that ep will never not be epic crack and awesome! Plus, the standing on the rooftop bit after when they play Aya's Theme - I fucking LOVE that song! I think I need to go watch that ep again! Hee!)

This story is great! I love how you captured the tension between the Weiss members, even while they try to work together. I love how Yohji said using his wire isn’t easy and Aya said he never assumed it was. It really showed that he actually thinks more of his teammates that they think he does. Also, I always imagined Yohji’s wire would be the most difficult weapon to master without losing a hand or killing yourself.

“Not the first time that question’s been asked tonight. He’s alive. We couldn’t get him down from that roof so he’s probably still angsting there.”

I feel like that’s been uttered many times after missions. xD
