I'm going to loose my job.
It's not something I've done, or something my coworkers have done, but the plain "We don't have enough seats here in Leeuwarden, but we do have them in Breda. So the whole project is going to be transferred to there."
May the first will be the end-date. It's kinda ironic that it's the International Day of the Workers. 1st ( Read more... )

Should I use the same thinking line, if God loved me, why didn't he give me a damn boyfriend? Because he does not love me. Wrong. I cannot think like that, it would make me feel horrible. I'm guessing God has his reasons for everybody in the world, reasons that we do not understand. After all, he answers our prayers in ways that we don't understand.

i am so sorry to hear this news!

to say that it was a positive experience is something a lot of people cannot say about their jobs though. at least you have found a job type that you can hopefully go back to.

i think God is opening a new door for you and closing this one. i'll pray for you.

I guess i've been through so much that I expect every-time a door closes, there will be a giant pit of stakes and snakes or something, instead of a new door, a new opportunity.

I wouldn't even mind checking fines, as long as it keeps me from doing target-fronted contact center work! But thanks for the tip ( ... )

A comment on the last alinea: When you don't have the proverbal "stick behind the door" it's hard to hold yourself to your own deadlines. If you want, and you will start to HATE me, but be thankful afterwards, I can make your planning with you and literally bother the shit out of you with reminders of what your supposed to do this week and that on xx date I'd like to see a finished report on my desk (inbox). Annoying as hell, but it'll work and we both want you to leave that f-ing NHL behind!
