Yep, I admit the final one was pretty boring in a lot of ways. Did you watch any of the two last eps before the very last one -the ones at the stadium?

I just watched the finale yesterday. While I didn't watch her show regularly, I did watch it now and then and I've always enjoyed her show.

I didn't go read the public forums. I find that there're lots of nasty things being said there, they just made me sick most of the time.

What I don't quite understand is why people like to make Oprah jokes, other talk show hosts - Conan, Jay Leno, Letterman. Is it because she's so earnest and all?

Oh nice. Yeah I didn't see her at the start obviously, caught a few seasons in the early-middle years, stopped a bit on/off then mum watched and we saw it a bit, hadn't really seen it much the past few years but tuned in every now and then.

I didn't either because I know a lot of trolls do that kind of thing. I just went to YouTube to see if I could find part of her monologue from the last episode and on a few Oprah vids there was that so yeah...

I don't know, half because she seems so earnest and "I WILL HELP THE WORLD" preachy and the other bit is just that she's an influential and highly visible figure so people think that gives them a bit more leeway and 'she's an open target'. :/
