It is SO hilarious. One of my favorite scenes is when the wife is running from the dog (actually walking quickly and looking over her shoulder). The cute Shepherd boy is trotting after her with a big smile on his face and his tail slowly swishing back and forth. "Hey lady! Where ya goin lady? Gimme that cookie in your pocket!"
I love to watch dogs acting. The drug dealers in "No Country For Old Men" had pit bulls (which I think is an anachronism--it's set in 1981, and Rotties were the "it" badass dog back then). Anyway, one of the dogs is supposed to dive into the river after our hero and swim ferociously after him, ready to eat him alive. The scene where the pup leaps in is impressive, but then they show this side view of him swimming, and he has this huge happy grin. "I'm a good dog! I'm doing what they told me to do! Look at meeeeee!"
