"Twas mine," George admitted cheerfully. This hadn't been what he was expecting. Admittedly even after a year and a half at Fandom, George Cooper didn't have the vocabulary to begin imagining Kyle's world. "Tis been too long t'be friends wit' th' lad and not ever seen his home."
He was talking lightly, but the hair on the back of his neck was standing up as he tried to pay attention to every bit of the environment.
"The unit just got back from a mission down south. Should be at the HQ for a few days at least," he said. He hoped their next mission would include Kyle as part of his unit, but that went unsaid. Kyle already knew tht.
George hadn't thought about how weird it would be to listen to Kyle and his brother talk about John Connor here in their world without knowing...anything about the whole thing.
"I'm sure he's a smart man," George remarked jokingly. "He'd have t'see tis th'best way. Where's HQ?"
