Last week I went to a training class to learn new technologies for my job. The class sucked and I feel like I need to take another class now since I hardly learned anything. Hoo boy, if only that were true. :-) It's wonderful and challenging at every stage. Usually they just trade out one thing that drives you nuts or is hard for a different thing, but they also get new things that you love. Enjoy your boy -- he's wonderful.
