I haven't been "posty" lately. Things have been moving along fairly smoothly and uneventfully. I've been interviewing candidates as part of a search committee for a position in our department this week....5 of them. The one we're excited about we don't think we're going to be able to hire because of a VISA issue, so that sucks. I really don't want

My life has been full of end-of-semester work; I imagine you back-room people don't have to deal with too much of it. :)

Hammock-lying is very nice. I like to read books in hammocks. They must be nice for snuggling too; I wouldn't know, sadly.

Considering I'm out of school, no, I'm not doing much school work. Although I do want to take a class soon...

I would suggest cloth hammocks for snuggling, not so much the rope ones.

Well, i'm in a very public office, so the end of the semester affects me a lot more than other IT folk. :)

I've found the rope hammocks gets itchy and annoying after a while too. I've just never had the opportunity to be in a cloth hammock with someone I like.
