wow! that flooring gives such a rich and luxurious look. i love it. The opening up of the doorway makes the room feel much more spacious.

Thank you! Now we just have to get a pretty throw rug for the living room to make it feel more separate from the dining area.

Considering I'm a neat freak, the impending little one does not bode well for keeping things uncluttered...

I wouldn't worry too much about it. The main reason our house is cluttered is that I am... um, what's the word? Not naturally organized.

Fortunately Ashton is already showing signs of taking after DJ... he has an inner (self-determined) plan of where his toys all "belong," although he doesn't always bother to put them there.
