SCA Demo - Concord, Sunday 10/24

The SCA has been invited to hold another demo at Black Diamond Games in
Concord. The store will be holding its 6th Anniversary Party, which
includes a tri-tip BBQ, on Sunday, October 24, 2010 from 10:00am to
6:00 pm.
I am hoping to gather a group of artists and fighters from Noon to
4p.m. to display and demonstrate thier skills.

Phew! I have a job
I know I've been driving everyone crazy (mostly myself & michael) about the uncertaintanty around the reorganization at work. I'm happy to report that I have the same job that I've been doing. Thanks everyone for all the support and understanding and keeping my mind off it! -

1/2 Marathon - October 4
All my runner friends tell me I can do it. Anyone want to join me? I am a SUPER beginner. Super slow. I'm aiming for a 5K sometime in July and a 10K in August. A nice thing that happened
At 12th night, I bought a set of four perfect pins. 5 minutes later, I realized I had lost them. I retraced my steps back to the vendor - no pins. There was nothing else available that was as perfect. The shopkeeper asked me about my distress and remembered that I had just bought them. Michael just found out that his job might be on the chopping block at the school district. If anyone knows of any "facilities" types jobs that might be open (preferably within 30 miles of martinez) let us know. He is also a TaeKwonDo & HapKiDo instructor.
