Well, for Biology you could make the job easier by just posting the appropriate Bible verses on the board and telling them if they have any further questions they can take it up with the Intelligent Designer, then spend that time prepping for the other classes.
You should be able to get away with it, it *is* Arkansas after all. =)
Will that off-set my use of the Pirates vs. Global Warning graph? I use it to show that just because something looks scientific (especially on the web) doesn't mean it is. But some kids go on the net and find out more about the Spagetti Monster. I just know I'll have to have a conference about it someday.
Also, since my kids will have a NCLB state mandated End Of Course exam for Biology, I have to actually teach them.
Sounds like a good schedule. I taught middle school English for a couple of years (teaching was not my calling, more of a falling). One year I had both 7th and 8th grades and of course I got the crap schedule of 8th, 7th, 8th, 7th, prep, and last period was health/standardized test remediation. My brain did not like switching gears that many times in one day. At least the grammar lessons could be pretty much the same for both grades, but literature lessons were a pain in the butt.
